Inland Container Transshipment
NPM provides inland container movement along the Suez Canal, supporting transit container flows between the Mediterranean and Red Sea gateways. Using 100-meter barges—the largest inland operating barges in Egypt with a capacity of up to 92 TEU (approximately 1,600 tons)—the service connects Port Said Container Terminal with Suez Canal Container Terminal.
This terminal-to-terminal movement supports shipping lines in repositioning containers, enabling efficient transit operations, vessel schedule optimization between the Mediterranean and Red Sea gateways.
